Camp, summer classes, parks and recreation! Summer fun & learning! Below are a list of summer activities for your children that are free or a small fee to keep your child busy through the summer.
Camp Hollis
Located on the shores of beautiful Lake Ontario, Camp Hollis is a co-ed summer camp for children ages 8 to 14.
Eight-year-olds are invited to join us one night at our "1st Camp Experience" overnight program.
Residential Campers, 9-14 years old, join us for a fun filled, week-long, overnight camping experience.
Camp Hollis' Day Camp program is offered all of the weeks that resident camp is in session. Our Day Camp is offered to campers ages 6-12, daily from 9 am-4 pm, Monday - Friday. Day Campers get to enjoy all of the same day programs offered to resident campers and have lunch with the rest of camp.
Camp Hollis is owned and operated by the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau.

3. Fulton CYO Gets Ready For Summer Recreation Program
FULTON, NY โ The CYO Summer Drop-in Recreation Program at Catholic Charities of Oswego County will begin July 5 and continue through Aug. 12.
The program is offered free of charge to children ages 7 to 14 in Oswego County (Children must be 7 years old by July 1 to participate) and is held Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Participants in last yearโs Catholic Charitiesโ CYO Summer Drop-in Recreation Program enjoyed going to the Fulton YMCA for a swim. This yearโs program begins July 5.
Children enjoy a variety of special events and activities designed to aid them in learning good sportsmanship, how to work as a team, positive interaction with peers and staff, and meeting and making new friends. Plus, each day the youth engage in structured and non-structured activities that will help them grow both physically and mentally.
Children may attend the CYO Summer Drop-in Recreation Program daily or weekly if they choose to.
Activities include; daily recreational activities, swimming, special presentations and awareness groups and arts and crafts.
Youth will also be able to have usage of X-Box, Wiis and computers along with other fun activities. There will be three special themed days and three game days throughout the summer that include games, movies and snacks.
Trained staff supervises all activities and assists all participants as needed to ensure that they receive the full benefits of the program as well as help in their physical and emotional development.
Children receive a free lunch daily through the USDA Summer Feeding Program sponsored by Oswego County Opportunities or they can bring their own if they wish.
Parent participation in the CYO Summer Drop-in Program is encouraged and appreciated.
Parents are welcome to attend game and themed days and become involved in the many activities that the program provides for their children including the annual talent show.
The program is funded in part by the United Way of Greater Oswego County, the NYS Office of Children and Families, and the City-County Youth Bureau of Oswego County.
